First Round of the ‘ALF in Motion’ Call.

We Successfully Completed Our Project Selected in the First Round of the ‘ALF in Motion’ Call!*

Within the scope of the 1st Round of the “ALF in Motion” Mobility Call supported by the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF), we realized a significant collaboration between the Finnish and Turkish civil society networks as the applicant organization.

In this framework, as the European Network of Youth Centres (ENYC), a member of the ALF Finland Network, we came together with System and Generation Association (S&G), one of the Coordinators of the ALF Turkey Network, in Kokkola, Finland, with the goal of capacity building in youth work and international project development.

Capacity Building and Project Preparation in Kokkola

Representing System and Generation Association and the ALF Turkey Network, we hosted Deniz AKARTUNA KEÇELİ at our centre for a one-week study visit within the scope of the project. During the visit, an intensive brainstorming and project development process was conducted between our team and Ms. AKARTUNA KEÇELİ.

The main focus of the meetings was the European Union’s Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the Field of Youth (CBY) programme. In the working sessions realized, we emphasized innovative project ideas that will strengthen youth bridges between the Western Balkans and Europe.

Joint Application for the 2026 Call

As a result of the technical work carried out, we have prepared a comprehensive project framework in which S&G will also take part as a partner. We aim to submit the project in question to the European Commission on February 26th within the scope of the Erasmus+ programme’s 2026 call for proposals.

Gratitude and Future Vision

As ENYC, we extend our thanks to our partner S&G and Deniz AKARTUNA KEÇELİ for this productive working week and their contributions. We also express our gratitude to the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) for offering this cooperation opportunity across borders between civil society organizations and for maintaining its mission to strengthen intercultural dialogue.

We hope that this visit, recorded as a concrete output of intercultural dialogue, will bring the continuation of a long-term and sustainable partnership between the two institutions.
