Creative Inclusion EVS project was organized by the International Youth Center team for 14 months (01.06.2017-31.07.2018).

The purpose stated in the application form was achieved – to enable young people from different countries, with different backgrounds and cultures, for their future lives and careers.

Four participants were from two different countries – the Republic of Turkey and Finland, who participated in their long-term EVS service. Some of them had extensive experience in EVS with short-term. Others had excellent qualities acquired through other projects such as Erasmus + for students.

During this EVS, volunteers learned the whole process of developing and implementing human rights programs and projects, peace building, gender issues and youth, and through volunteering our NGOs included various governance activities of the project portfolio the basic steps of writing, implementing projects in various fields. The volunteers have done a great job with their work in our office, supporting the tasks related to multimedia, promotion and public relations, the preparation and preparation of projects for young people.

During the implementation of the projects for the young people they are excellent at the tasks related to organizing a team, taking responsibility for the practical aspects of project management, evaluation and monitoring, presenting the projects through media and social networks, finding creative ideas for promoting projects and disseminating the results and visibility of the work of organizations, the Erasmus + program and the EVS.

Volunteers have helped with all programs in our NGOs. They had no problems integrating into the local community, socializing, participating in various activities and events. Their new friendships continue for several months after the end of the project.
Volunteers have developed and refined a range of skills and competencies during their EVS experience – digital, social and civic, foreign language and intercultural learning, as well as their cultural awareness and their attitude to healthy lifestyles. Now they have a new language for their cultivated variety (CV) – Bulgarian.

Today, after the end of the EVS experience for our four volunteers, the acquired skills and competences will help them in their future work, career, education and personal life.
