Objectives

Through this project we hope to achieve a better understanding of human rights as they are seen around Europe in different cultural groups. The main goal of our project is to give a better view for participants about different cultures in Europe and minorities in them.

Activities

We are planning to arrange different kinds of workshops to work around the topics addressed through this project. These workshops will be art and discussion oriented. We are planning to organize a protest sign workshop and discuss how art has been used and is used to take a stand for human rights and create discussion. We also hope to be able to arrange an art exhibition as the main event of the camp, so that we’ll be able to show the results of the work of participants for a larger group of people. We will also include panels and speakers from different minorities and we will have discussions during or after these activities.
There will be 5 non-profit organisations (including the host organisation) participating with 30 people in total.

Impact

We hope to educate ourselves about the topic of human rights. We hope to create discussion and present different kind of views, We hope to get rid of prejudices and raise awareness on current topics ans human rights. We hope to understand the modern society and its phenomena through history.
