ENYC STRENGHT ITS POWER

The European Network of Youth Centres (ENYC) has successfully implemented a new international collaboration within the framework of the first round of the Anna Lindh Foundation’s (ALF) “ALF in Motion” Mobility Scheme.
As part of this initiative, ENYC hosted a working visit in Kokkola, Finland, in partnership with System and Generation (S&G), one of the coordinating organisations of the ALF Türkiye Network. The collaboration focused on capacity building in the youth sector and the development of future international projects.
Productive Exchange and Joint Working Process in Kokkola
A one-week study visit took place with the participation of Deniz Akartuna Keçeli, representing S&G and the ALF Türkiye Network. During the visit, ENYC facilitated a series of intensive and highly productive working sessions.
The programme emphasized knowledge exchange, sharing of best practices, and co-creation of project ideas. Particular attention was given to opportunities under the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, specifically the “Capacity Building in the Field of Youth (CBY)” action.
Through collaborative discussions, the partners explored innovative project concepts aimed at strengthening youth cooperation and building bridges between Western Balkan countries and the broader European region.
Joint Project Development for Erasmus+ 2026 Call
As a result of the technical and strategic work carried out during the visit, ENYC, together with S&G as a partner, developed a comprehensive project concept. The partnership aims to submit this proposal to the European Commission under the Erasmus+ 2026 Call, with a planned submission date of 26 February.
This initiative aligns closely with ENYC’s mission to enhance international cooperation among youth centres, support capacity development, and foster meaningful engagement among young people across regions.
A Step Towards Long-Term Partnership
ENYC views this collaboration as more than a one-off exchange, but rather as the foundation for a long-term and sustainable partnership. The cooperation with S&G contributes to strengthening intercultural dialogue and building lasting connections between civil society networks.
ENYC extends its sincere appreciation to the Anna Lindh Foundation for enabling this valuable opportunity, and to all partners involved for their commitment and contribution.
